Supports to Develop University-Level Writing

This program supports incoming international undergraduate students in becoming university-level writers prior to beginning Western University. Our staff, faculty and student volunteers will support you in achieving academic success within the program and beyond.

SmartStart: Writing for International Students is entirely free, and availble for both Main Campus and Affiliate students. Classes are taught by experienced staff and faculty.
